ZEE5 has a free ad-supported tier, but it is the most clearly fenced of the big Indian services. You get a selection of older films, trailers, clips and some episodes of popular shows, capped at 720p and one device at a time. Originals, new releases and live channels sit behind a plan. It is worth opening if you are browsing rather than chasing a specific recent title, and worth skipping if you want this week's release.
