Plex is the outlier here: it is available in India, it is free and ad-supported, and it does not ask you to create an account before watching. Most people know Plex as media-server software, but its watch.plex.tv side is a straightforward free streaming service. One thing to be clear about, because most lists get it wrong: checked from India in October 2026, Plex organises its free catalogue by GENRE, not language — Action, Comedy, Crime, Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi and so on, with Spanish the only language category it breaks out. There is no Hindi, Tamil or Telugu section. If you want Indian-language cinema, start elsewhere; if you want English-language films with no sign-up, this is the shortest path from search to playing something.
