Free Malayalam movies

Malayalam is the smallest of the four South categories by volume but it is present and free on MX Player, which is more than can be said for most free services. The short answer: **Amazon MX Player** is the reliable free option for Malayalam. It has a dedicated Malayalam category, and — unlike every other service here — it has no subscription tier at all, so nothing in that category is waiting behind a paywall. It is ad-supported throughout, needs no account, and we confirmed the Malayalam category exists by checking the site from inside India in October 2026. The other three are worth a sentence of caution. ZEE5, JioHotstar and SonyLIV all carry Malayalam, and all three genuinely do have free tiers — but none of them publishes which titles are free, by language or otherwise. Checked from an Indian connection in October 2026: ZEE5's /free page returns an error, and JioHotstar and SonyLIV serve almost nothing at all to a visitor who is not signed in. Their free titles are badged one by one inside the app. Treat them as worth a look rather than as a dependable free source, and expect what is free to shift from month to month. That is precisely the claim most lists of this kind get wrong.
